| Even though Kartell is one of Italy’s biggest furniture manufacturers, every one of its pieces looks as if it were beamed down from another planet. Patricia Urquiola’s T- Table is no exception. One of the most organic pieces in this meteoric Spanish designer’s vast portfolio, T-Table resembles some kind of futuristic embroidery, but it’s far from fragile. The acrylic glass (available in five colors) is surprisingly sturdy—and so beautiful, you won’t want to put anything on top of it.—Ian Daly
