The market is already flooded with variations on the ubiquitous corkscrew, so Swiss designer Jakob Wagner came up with an entirely different gadget for those afflicted by wine fever: a thermometer that straps around bottles of vino like a belt and reads the temperature in minutes. Any wine geek worth her Gewürztraminer knows that there’s only a tiny temperature window for top taste and bouquet, and the wine thermometer lets you know precisely when you hit it. Oenophiles with a visual jones will also savor its tasteful minimalist steel and digital display. —Ian Daly
