How do you update a brand that’s as iconic as a flag? For three centuries, Royal Copenhagen’s Blue Fluted porcelain pattern has been a critical part of the Danish identity. Then 26-year-old design student Karen Kjældgård-Larsen knocked on the company’s door and changed things forever. Her updated Blue Fluted Mega pattern uses the same style elements as the classic service stunningly enlarged and simplified.
