German studio Osko+Deichmann found inspiration for their Abyss table lamp (produced by Kundalini) in the gossamer tentacles of a jellyfish. Like its underwater muse, the Abyss can be manipulated into an infinite number of graceful configurations, thanks to an innovative segmented structure of injection-molded opal polycarbonate. And because it’s illuminated from within by a strand of white LEDs, it looks as ethereal as a creature from the Mariana Trench. Give it a twist and turn your office into a deep-sea submersible.—Ian Daly

Tentacular spectacular: Samsung’s YP-T10 is a music player, FM radio, photo album, video player, voice recorder, and text reader, wrapped into one device. Brilliant!
