The long-awaited for Galaxy Note7 has finally arrived!
It's now time to reveal the new Galaxy Note7 features everyone has been waiting for.
From the new camera to the iris scanner, here is all you need to know about the Galaxy Note7.
The Galaxy Note7 will include touch focus, face and smile detection, auto HDR and geo tagging. Already present in the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and S7, the Galaxy Note7 will feature the phase detection autofocus feature allowing you to capture different images and compiling them together to create the perfect image.
The Galaxy Note7 will also boast a 5-megapixel front camera with auto HDR.
The Galaxy Note7 will feature a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, with a resolution of 2560x1440, and a pixel density of 518 ppi.
The Galaxy Note7 is confirmed to come with Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass casing, which is said to survive up to 80% of drops from a shoulder height. This protection ensures that the curved display of the Note7 will be less prone to shattering if dropped.
The Galaxy Note7 also includes a IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
The Galaxy Note7 will feature a microSD slot, ensuring an extra storage up to 256GB. The device is the first Samsung smartphone to feature 4GB of RAM, and its first model will be equipped with 64 GB internal storage, and another model featuring 128GB storage.
The Galaxy Note7 will feature a 3,500 mAh battery, a huge power boost from the Note5 and its 3,000 mAh. A USB Type-C port will be used on the device.
The Galaxy Note7 will be available in the first stage in Black Onyx and Silver Titanium.
The Galaxy Note7 will add some features to the standard S-Pen features such as Action memo, Screen write and Smart select. The three new features will be Glance, Dictionary, Speaking, Oil Brush and GIF creation.
The Galaxy Note7 is the first Samsung smartphone to feature the iris scanner camera module. Located on the device's front, the iris scanner will capture the user's eye and analyse the iris to unlock the device, making the device extra secure.
The Secure Folder function will allow you to keep documents, photos and apps private, acting as a safe for all information you would like to keep for yourself.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 will be available from August 6th 2016 in markets.
