Al Noor benefits from Samsung's Ramadan Campaign 25/09/12
Al Noor Training Center for Children with Special Needs today received a donation chequeworth AED 315,106 from Mr. Young Soo Kim, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics. The fundswere raised through Samsung's annual Ramadan campaign, ‘Share More this Ramadan', and will go into enhancing the education curriculum and facilities of Al Noor students.
Under the campaign, part proceeds from the sale of select Samsung products, such as the GALAXY S III, SMART TV ES8000 (55"), WB150F SMART Camera and French Door refrigerator (RFG28MESL), were donated to the Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs.
"We thank Samsung Gulf Electronics for their constant support towards theAl Noor Centre. The money raised will touch the lives of all our students and allow us to provide a better learning environment for them," said Dr. Isphana Al Khatib, Director of Al Noor Training Center for Children with Special Needs.
"Nothing makes us happier than contributing and providing a better future to the students of Al Noor. Our goal is to empower these students and help them become active members of their communities. This is part of our ‘Samsung Hope for Children' Campaign, which focuses on initiatives dedicated to helping children live, learn, and thrive." said Mr. Young Soo Kim, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics.
Earlier this year, Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs and Samsung Gulf Electronics signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the ‘Samsung Hope for Children' program. Under the renewed agreement, Samsung and Al Noor will embark on extensive activities this year that will enable the students to harness their inherent skills and facilitate an environment where they can learn more easily.
