Samsung and Al Nibras Ideal School Renew Partnership to Support Special Needs Students in Kuwait Smart classrooms will see two new Interactive Whiteboards, the latest in Samsung's education solutions Kuwait City, Kuwait — October 23, 2014— Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, and the Al Nibras Ideal School for Individuals with Special Needs have renewed their commitment to bringing technology-based learning to special needs students in Kuwait.

In an evolution of the program, two classrooms at Al Nibras Ideal School will welcome Samsung's smart e-board solution, the Interactive Whiteboard (IWB). A digital display and writing solution, the Interactive Whiteboard has garnered positive feedback from teachers and parents at the Al Noor Training Center for Students with Special Needs, where it was piloted in 2013 and has been attributed with better student performance.

Al Nibras Ideal School has participated in the Samsung Hope for Children program since June 2013, when, the school was nominated by a public vote to become a partner. Founded to create new avenues for children with special needs, Al Nibras' dedication to inclusive education has garnered attention and respect from the local community. As a partner in Samsung's Hope for Children program, Al Nibras Ideal School has advanced its mission through the use of technology.

A global initiative, the Samsung Hope for Children program promotes the advancement of quality, accessible schooling for all children through new technologies. More than 10 million students in more than 40 countries have experienced first-hand the new possibilities brought to them by these advanced technologies.

Marking a milestone of success in the region, Samsung recently signed a MoU with the UAE Ministry of Education to bring the Smart Classroom program to special needs students attending ministry-operated schools throughout the Emirates.
