Samsung teams up with Salma Khan and HellwaFashion.com during Dubai Fashion Week

Samsung launches ‘Express the Diva in You’ campaign to take place from April 3rd – 7th, 2010

Dubai, UAE, 1st April, 2010—Samsung Electronics, an award winning innovator and sponsor of Dubai Fashion Week, announced its collaboration with Salma Khan, a fashion powerhouse in the region, for the first time, and its partnership with prestigious Dubai-based fashion blog, HellwaFashion.com, for the second season running during Dubai Fashion week.
This partnership with HellwaFashion.com and Salma Khan is to introduce the ‘Express the Diva in You’ campaign, where Samsung will hold a ‘Diva of Dubai Fashion Week’ competition by selecting a daily winner as the ‘Diva look of the Day’ throughout the week. This will be done by having a Samsung camera snap photos of potential divas attending the fashion show. The daily winners will be announced on Twitter.
On the final day, April 8th, Samsung, Bebhinn Kelly, Managing Director and blogger of HellwaFashion.com and Salma Khan will pick one of the five as the ‘Diva of Dubai Fashion Week' winner-- the prize will be a 55” Samsung LED TV.

The collection of dresses will be worn by models at the Samsung stand during Dubai Fashion Week."

As the official product partner for mobile phones and televisions this year, the Samsung HellwaFashion.com DFW online diary will include notes on signature looks, up-and-coming designers, key trends for the season and of course all the front row gossip about who is wearing what. Readers will be able to log onto HellwaFashion.com everyday and read up-to-date diary entries. The online fashion diary will also incorporate Twitter, where we will load up to the minute pictures and comments about what is happening on the runway.
