Dubai, United Arab Emirates – November 19, 2012 - Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, the Worldwide Sponsor of the World Cyber Games 2012, today announced that UAE national Marwan Khoory,18, was named the winner of the World Cyber Games (WCG) 2012 National Final in the UAE.
Representing the UAE, Marwan Khoory will advance to the World Cyber Games 2012 Grand Final taking place in Kunshan, China from November 29 to December 2. Samsung Electronics Co., will be sponsoring Marwan’s trip to the WCG 2012 Grand Final. In addition, Marwan also received an AED 8,000 cash reward from Samsung.
Commenting on his win, Marwan Khoory said: “I am truly ecstatic to have won the UAE World Cyber Games National competition, being chosen to represent my country at the Grand Final, fills me with pride.
