6pm – November 22, 2014 at the GPP Space in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai.
With the support of Samsung NX, we are proud to present this unmissable talk by one of the Master of Modern Photojournalism.
Before the ubiquitous world of cell phones, laptops and citizen journalism, photojournalist covered local & global happenings. Their pictures, shot on film and physically couriered back to the newspaper offices on extreme deadlines, were our window into the unfolding events. Hard to imagine, but its true!
David Burnett has been there and done that. Literally. He has photographed every US president since JFK and has covered the Vietnam war, the Iranian revolution and a number of Olympics games.
David is currently in the UAE to launch the Samsung NX1 camera, and he will be sharing his experiences and insights gained using this revolutionary new DSLR, with the fastest Autofocus and best High-ISO performance in it’s class as well as sharing some of his bottomless pool of incredible stories with his trademark humility and good-humor.
