What is the problem if there is difference between the measured heart rate of Galaxy Gear 2 and Galaxy Alpha?

Last Update date : 2014.09.21

To measure heart rate, Galaxy Alpha place your index finger on the sensor

at the back of the device, but Gear2 or Gear fit need to wear the device around

your lower arm just above the wrist.

While the measurement is being taken, movement of your body or finger

from sensor may cause your heart rate to be recorded inaccurately. Additionally,

users with thin wrists may receive slightly inaccurate measurements.

Inaccurate measurements occur when the device is loose because the light

reflecting off the wrist to provide the measurement is uneven.

As a result, slight difference between Gear2 and Galaxy Alpha may be caused,

but If the measurement is very different from the expected heart rate, please note

the advice about and then retry.
