Mr. Kwang Kee Park was appointed to the President of Samsung Electronics Africa in January 2010. Prior to taking up his new position in South Africa, he was the Managing Director of Thai Samsung Electronics from 2006 to 2009.

Mr. Park was the Vice President of Samsung’s Global Human Resource Planning Group based in Seoul, Korea responsible for establishing and standardizing global Human Resource guidelines, polices, and code of conduct for all of Samsung’s subsidiaries overseas from 2004 to 2005.

Mr. Park’s first overseas assignment, from 1991 to 1995, was based in Thailand where he supported Thailand and Indochina marketing activities for Samsung’s Consumer Electronics business. He has also worked as the Chief Manager of Business Operation at Samsung’s Regional Headquarters in Singapore from 1999 to 2003.

Mr. Park studied Economics and has a Master of Management (MM) in International Business and Marketing from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University.
