Nanum Village

We aim to reverse the causes of poverty and lay the foundation for economic independence by providing comprehensive infrastructure needed for basic living in low-income and underprivileged areas. The program not only improves the social infrastructure by working with local governments, but also encourages our employees to actively engage in developing the individual communities.

My family fishes and hunts. The kind of animals are paca, tapir, and various types of fish. To fish, first we need to learn the technique. We must go to a quiet river...and observe in detail to see if there are any fish in the area. And we need to have patience. I like to compare it to my studies... The canoe is like a classroom... And the silent river is like the people, quiet. The fishing rod is like my notebook that helps me to learn. In the future I would like to be a biologist. God willing. Me and biology...I'm starting to like it. I'm going to learn better, I think, with technology, and I hope to make a lot of memories here. My name is Micaeli. I live in the Barreinha community. I'm indigenous Bare.

In 2016, we supported 61 villages with 17,000+ residents in 6 countries

Nanum Village in Africa which is called Digital village provides comprehensive infrastructure needed for basic livelihood in low-income and underprivileged areas.
It provides infrastructure such as schools and mobile healthcare centres in remote areas and are powered by solar power generator.
