Do What You Can’t… Or Can You?

Sep 15. 2017

In our galaxy of paradoxes, we have to ask the bigger questions, whose answers could potentially break reality as we know it, or at least give our brain muscles the cramps of their lives. Let’s dive in!

What happens if Pinocchio says “my nose will grow”?
As you may know, this little Italian wooden boy’s nose would grow every time he told a lie. Now, if he stated that his nose would grow & he was telling the truth, it would have no reason to grow right? But, if it did not grow because he told the truth, the lack of growth would turn that statement into a lie, which would then make his nose grow. Now, if his nose grew, just as he said it would, then he would have told the truth. Would his nose un-grow? We need answers people!

The next sentence is true. The previous sentence is false.
The first sentence states that the second sentence is true. Yet, the second sentences states that the first sentence is false. If the first sentence is false, then the second sentence is not true; and if the second sentence is not true, then the first sentence is not false. & thus, for eternity, we are stuck in this mad loop.

Do What You Can’t
So why are we constantly instructing you to do something you lack the ability to do? Well, because you don’t. You may think you do, but you don’t. Just months ago, you thought a phone needed four sides to clasp your screen, you thought your camera couldn’t possibly help you shop, you even thought you needed a professional camera to joust in photography with the best of them, but no. The S8 | S8+ had you rethinking and redefining, in so many ways, just what a phone can do, and you need to do the same. Go forth, be fruitful and do what you can’t!
