SHARE YOUR MOBILE ON THE BIG SCREEN

You can share photos and videos with your friends and family on the TV, directly from your mobile phone? It’s called mirroring and it’s really easy to set up, so those hundreds of photos don’t need to remain in your phone’s photo album, and instead can be enjoyed by others in the living room.

1.  On your TV, press the Source button.

2.  Select the Screen Mirroring source.

3.  Your TV will display a screen informing you that it is waiting for a device to be connected. This screen will be displayed until your device is connected.

Note: these final steps will vary depending on your mobile device.• Most devices will have an option similar to Allshare Cast in Samsung Phones: Settings > Wireless and Networks > More Settings > Allshare Cast. Once you enable this setting it will scan for nearby devices.

4.  Once enabled the external device will scan for the TV and find it.

5.  Tap on the TV icon to connect to your TV.

6.  Your phone or tablet screen will now be displayed on the TV

Do this and you can not only share photos and videos but also play music through your TV’s speakers, and show people the game you are playing.

•Please note: On later versions of Software of the Galaxy S5 “Allshare cast” is called “Screen Mirroring”: you can update your S5 with via the Software update feature of the S5 (On the Home screen tap “Apps”, then “Settings”, scroll down to “About Phone” then tap on “Update now” to check for updates)
