What is the 'Cool Zone Select' section used for on my Refrigerator?

This is an area within the unit that can be set to a different temperature to the rest of the unit. You can manually choose a temperature or choose from four defaults:
Quick Cool -Chills your drinks in 60 mins.
Soft Freeze -Sets to ?5 degrees for gentle freezing.
Thaw -Sets to +4 degrees to slowly defrost.
Chill or Cool-Sets to +1 degree for fruit and veg.
The Cool Zone select section can be used to Soft freeze meat and fish, the temperature in the section will show-5 degree C regardless of the set temp of the refrigerator. This section can also be used to thaw food or quick cool.
