| A. No, just as you can't play DVD's in CD players. Blu-ray is a new format. |
| Q. Does the Samsung Blu-ray player support Dolby Digital Plus & DTS HD? |
| A. Yes, the Samsung Blu-ray player does have both Dolby Digital Plus and DTS HD decoders inbuilt. |
| Q. Does the Samsung BD-P1000 player support 7.1Ch Audio? |
| A. The current player has been designed to support PCM 5.1 uncompressed audio. Currently there are no 7.1Ch movies available. |
| Q. I've heard Samsung's Blu-ray had technical issues - what were they and will we see them in Australia? |
A. A minor issue in June was firmware related, due to the noise reduction chip over compensating. This caused an over softness fluctuation to the picture. This was corrected in late July. Samsung expects no issues with the release of Blu-ray in Australia. All products produced since August have had the correct firmware and no hardware related issues have been reported. |

| A. 3 Regions: A = US, B = Europe and Australia, C = Asia |
| Q. What will be the average price for Blu-ray titles? |
| A. If the recommended retail price of a DVD is for example $36.99, the Blu-ray title would be 20% higher at around $50. |
| Q. How many Blu-ray titles will be available? |
| A. There are 6-7 Blu-ray titles on release (this week). We are expecting approximately 30 to 50 Blu-ray titles by end of 2006. |

| A. Lets just say Samsung has big plans for Blu-ray… stay tuned. |
