  1. How do I enter this promotion?

    Claimants must visit www.samsung.com.au/promotions, follow the prompts to the claim page during the Offer Period, input the requested details and submit the fully completed online claim form. The claimant must then post the original receipt of purchase to Samsung for validation.
  2. What’s the offer? What do I get?

    Claimants must purchase a selected Samsung TV from any participating Australian retail store during the Offer Period and they will be eligible to claim a free Samsung Blu-Ray player.
  3. What is a Blu-Ray player?

    A media player that operates on the Blu-Ray disc format.

  6. What is a serial number and where can I find it?

    A serial number is a number that is assigned to your TV for identification purposes and is found on the back of your TV on the lower right hand side.
  7. Why do I have to provide the serial number?

    This step is necessary in validating your claim and helps detect invalid or fraudulent entries.
  8. What do I do if I haven’t received my TV yet and can’t provide its serial number? And will this hold up the process of my claim?

    You can submit this step as blank in the process. An email will be sent to you to let you know we are waiting for your serial number. It will have a link which will allow you to update your claim and insert your serial number once you receive your TV. Not entering this number will not hold up your claim progressing, but your Blu-ray player will not be despatched until a serial number is provided.
  9. When does the promotion start?

    The offer commences on 17/10/08.
  10. When does the promotion end?

    The offer has been extended until 5pm AEDST on 31/01/09.
  11. What is the latest date my original purchase receipt can be received?

    Your purchase receipt must be received within 14 days of your online registration

    The Blu-Ray player will be under it’s own warranty.
  19. Is there a limit as to how many TVs I can buy (and still receive the free Blu-Ray player)?

    Yes there’s a limit of one claim per household
  20. Does it cost anything to receive the Blu-Ray player (i.e. shipping costs)?

    Yes you are required to pay $30 for postage, handling & administration. Credit card details will need to be submitted within your online entry form

  22. How can I track the delivery of my Blu-Ray player?

    You will be contacted via the email you provide during registration with updates on the delivery of your Blu-Ray Player. We will confirm the following:
    • Receipt of online registration form
    • Receipt of your original purchase receipt
    • Exact despatch date with details of expected delivery date plus tracking number / contact for further queries
  23. Can I exchange the Blu-Ray player for something else or cash?

  24. Is this promotion still valid if the TV is purchased during a sale?

  25. What will happen with my customer details after the promotion and shipping is complete?

    Details will be kept on file but will not be used for any marketing purposes. Winners names will be used for publicity purposes only.
  26. Will I receive further promotional information from Samsung after the promotion?

    The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. Claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the Promoter. The claimant will be provided with an ‘opt-out’ at time of registration as per privacy policy.
  27. If I return/exchange the TV will I have to return the Blu-Ray player as well?
