Sydney, Australia – 18 February 2016 – From 11am today, in a new campaign titled Galaxy Emojis Alive(#GalaxyEmojisAlive), Samsung and Uber have teamed up to reward Samsung Galaxy smartphone customers with the chance to order a real life version of their favourite emojis via the Uber app!
Imagine a world where you can order a box of chocolate donuts with rainbow sprinkles to be delivered right when you get that sugar craving. Where an emoji wants to make a different name for itself so arrives in the form of a tasty treat by legendary Australian patissier and chef, Adriano Zumbo. Where you can order yourself an emoji styled gift box containing a surprise gadget from Samsung – because you know you deserve it**.
On Thursday 18th February, open your Uber app between 11am – 4pm
Slide across to the Emoji Alive view, set your location and request your emoji
If available, your request will be accepted and your emoji will be on its way!
Demand is likely to be sky-high, so if your request isn’t successful keep trying, Galaxy Emojis Alive runs until 4pm
