Sydney, Australia –1 July, 2013–Samsung Electronics Australia today launched the Business Partner Program, withinits Samsung Team of Empowered Partners (STEP) initiative.STEP for business partnerswill offer a range of benefits that will enable partners to better integrate Samsung technology into their overall product and solutions portfolios. Partners will receive access to solution architects and engineering; sales and marketing support;and market insights from the Samsung Partner and Alliances Group.
Samsung is also launching a comprehensive business desk service to create a simple and reliable framework to interact with its partners. The Partner Business Desk will support partners with all product enquiries, product loans, bid pricing, deal registration and pre-sales technical advice.
In addition, Samsung has set-up a national field force of partner business managers specialisingin all facets of IT solutions and some with specialisationsinmobility and print to work with partners to develop solutions for customers.

The Samsung STEP program offers business partners three program tiers designed to reward a partner’s investment. The partner tiersarePlatinum, Gold and Silver, each offering substantial opportunities to partners for growth and reward.
Partners will have access to a series of financial benefits to reward targets realised, marketing collateral to increase brand awareness and sales support throughout the entire sales cycle. The online accreditation training will also give partners enhanced subject matter knowledge and expertise. Samsung will offer its partners online and offline training including sales, pre-sales, technical workshopsand technical trainingon topics such as installation; configuration;implementation and troubleshooting.Additionally, Marketing Development Funds (MDF) are offered under the program benefits to extend a partners sales and marketing efforts with Samsung’s technology.
Partners will be able to develop enterprise solutions around mobility, business applications, virtualisation, collabouration; unified communications and productivityutilising Samsung technology including Smartphones, Tablets, Hybrid PCs, Notebook PCs, thin and zeroclients, digital signage; audio visual technology and print solutions. Samsungtechnologies and solutions have strength in many vertical industry scenarios.
