SYDNEY, Australia – 22 March, 2016 – Samsung Electronics Australia has today announced the appointment of Jeremy Senior as Director, Home Appliances, effective March 29, 2016.
Mr. Senior brings more than seven years’ experience in consumer electronics, with one and a half years spent working for Dick Smith Electronics, most recently as the Interim General Manager leading buying, merchandise planning and marketing functions as well as more than five years with Sony Australia Limited. During his tenure at Sony, Mr Seniordrove the channel strategy for consumer products in Australia across a broad and diverse retail network.
Mr. Senior also has a wealth of knowledge and experience working across a range of consumer goods industries and channels including eight years with Arnott’s Biscuits Limited where he led cross functional customer teams.
In his role at Samsung, Mr. Senior will be responsible for the growth and development of the Home Appliances division. He will report to Vice President of Consumer Electronics, Carl Rose and will lead the Home Appliance team including Mike Lilly, Head of Product (Home Appliances).
