Worldwide launch of 3D TV in New York

Samsung recently held the worldwide launch of its Full HD 3D LED TV in a massive event that took over Times Square in New York.

Samsung Full HD TV’s for complete entertainment

How TV’s have evolved - no longer are they that big bulky box in the corner of the lounge room. The new 2010 range of high definition TV’s offer a complete solution for “Connected Entertainment”. Now you can bring all kinds of multimedia (including the Internet) and play it on your TV.

3D: with Samsung Full HD 3D¹ capable TVs, you can create a totally immersive experience with life-like images you can almost reach out and touch.

PVR: with the Personal Video Recording (PVR) feature in selected Samsung Full HD TVs you simply plug in your USB memory or external hard disc drive into the TV’s USB port to enjoy high definition TV recording².

ConnectShare Movie: with ConnectShare Movie you can connect any USB device such as a Flash Drive, digital camera, MP3 Player or external hard disc drive etc and play your digital movies, photos and music on the big screen.

Internet@TV: now you can bring the Internet and other fun things to your TV with the introduction of Samsung Apps to this year’s product range. Samsung Full HD TVs with Internet@TV will come with 35 pre-loaded apps such as news, weather, email, games, YouTube and lots more with the option to download additional apps (both free and paid) when the Samsung TV App Store comes to Australia.

Complete Entertainment

AllShare: with AllShare you can connect your TV to a computer network (either wired or wireless³) and easily stream content from other DLNA-certified devices such as mobile phones, notebooks, desktop PC’s, cameras and camcorders and play it on your TV.

Skype: imagine turning your TV into a video phone and call your family and friends overseas or around the corner for free. Selected Samsung Full HD TV’s will have the ability to use Skype (a free Internet phone service) with the use of an optional Skype camera.
