Notebook: I want to clear the Recycle Bin?

To permanently remove files from your computer and reclaim any hard disk space, you need to delete the files from the Recycle Bin. You can delete individual files from the Recycle Bin or empty the entire Recycle Bin all at once.


WARNING: Files deleted within the Recycle Bin cannot be restored. Only delete files you are sure you want to be permanently get rid of. 



Accessing the Recycle Bin to individual files or all of them at once:


Step 1:    Double-click the Recycle Bin on the desktop.


Step 2:    Do one of the following:

●  To permanently delete a file, click on the file you want to delete, select Delete and then select Yes.

●  To delete all of the files in the Recycle bin select Empty the Recycle Bin and select Yes.



Deleting all the files in the Recycle Bin through the context menu:


Step 1: Right-click the Recycle Bin on the desktop.


Step 2: Click on Empty Recycle Bin in the context menu.
