Caring for your Samsung Refrigerator prolongs the life of your appliance and helps keep the refrigerator free of unpleasant odours and germs.

It is recommended to be cleaned on a regular basis to maintain optimal performance.

Cleaning the Interior

Clean the walls on the inside and the accessories with a mild detergent and then wipe it dry with a soft cloth. You can remove the drawers and shelves for a more thorough cleaning of your refrigerator. Just make sure to dry all the drawers and shelves before putting them back into place.

Cleaning the Exterior

Do not spray water directly onto the surface of the refrigerator.

Do not use a soaked cloth.

Do not use benzene, thinner or Clorox for cleaning as it may damage the surface of the appliance.

Printed letters on the display may be erased if a stainless cleaner is applied directly to the area where the letters are printed.

Cleaning the Ice / Water Dispenser

Push down one end of the tray dispenser and remove it. Wipe the Ice / Water Dispenser with a clean and soft cloth.

Cleaning the Ice/Water Dispenser

When using the crushed ice selection from the dispenser some residual ice chips may start to build up in the ice chute. It is recommended to regularly clean the ice chute to prevent random dripping and any mould from forming.  You can clean it with clean damp cloth.

For issues related to hard water build up within the dispenser tank, we recommend to drain out water from the dispenser tank and fill it up with white vinegar. Leave white vinegar for atleast an hour before draining out and then rinse with two tank loads of clean water. This should remove the hard water build up in your dispenser tank and the pipe connection between the water tank and the dispenser outlet. This applies only to manual water dispenser refrigerators (i.e dispenser that can be detached) as automatic water dispenser refrigerator has an external water line inlet.

Most dispenser water tanks are dish washer safe. Download a copy of User Manual for more information.

Cleaning the rubber seals on the door

If the rubber seals are dirty, the door may not close properly. This will result in your refrigerator not operating efficiently. Keeping the rubber seals on the door will help efficiency in the cooling process of your refrigerator. Please use a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.

Warning: On an Important note, do not use benzene, thinner, or car detergent as it may be hazardous.
