How to enable Mobile data

Note: To connect to the Internet, you may use either a Wi-Fi connection or Mobile data

 Mobile data services may incur  additional charges. It is recommended to contact your

network service provider to ensure how much data usage is available.


Option 1


Step 1: Drag down the Status bar to show the Notification Panel.



Step 2: Swipe to the right or left to locate Mobile data. Tap on the Mobile data icon to enable data connection.

Note: If Mobile data icon is greyed out, this means it is disabled. 




When you tap on Mobile data icon again to disable it, a pop up message will appear, tap OK to confirm.




Option 2


Step 1: Tap Apps from the Home screen.



Step 2: Tap Settings.  



Step 3: Under Connections tab, tap on Data usage

Step 4: Tick on the checkbox next to Mobile data to enable it.

Ensure that the Set mobile data limit is un-ticked. 

*The Data usage page displays mobile network data settings such as whether Mobile data is enabled or not,

as well as corresponding data usage statistics.



Step 5: On the other hand, to disable Mobile data, tap on the checkbox again to un-tick.

A message window will pop up. Tap OK to confirm.

Option 3


Step 1: On the Home screen, tap Apps.



Step 2: Tap Settings.



Step 3: Under Connections tab, tap More networks.



Step 4: On Wireless and networks screen, tap Mobile networks.



Step 5: Tap on the checkbox next to Mobile data to tick/enable it.

To disable Mobile data, just un-tick the checkbox and tap OK on the pop up message to confirm.
