How do I share files using Simple Sharing?

Simple Sharing feature is an easier way to share large-capacity files with friends via Contacts. It is available in all applications that can use the Share via feature (Action memo, Gallery, Internet, My files, Contact, S Health, S Note, S planner, S Translator, Samsung Apps, Scrapbook, Story Album, Video, Voice recorder).

 

Note: This feature is available from Android OS Version 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher. Screenshots were taken from Android OS Version 5.0 (Lollipop)

 

From Sender Side


Step 1: From the Gallery, tap Share.

Step 2: Tap Contacts icon.

 

Note: If it is your first time using Simple sharing, a prompt will appear showing the link for the Terms and Conditions

Step 3: Select contacts that you want and the tap Done

Step 4: After checking the recipient, tap OK. (Note: You may incur additional charges when sharing files via the mobile network.)

From Receiver side:

Step 1: From the Home screen, pull down the top of the screen to open notification panel.


Step 2: Tap Notification message.


Step 3: After confirming the file , Tap Download All

    

Note:                            
    ● You can check the downloaded image in the gallery. 
    ● If the recipients’ devices do not support the simple sharing feature, a link to the files will be sent to them via text message. The link will expire after a certain period (Expiry Date is provided with notification of shared file).
