Galaxy TabPro S: The battery saver mode

There are several ways to access the Battery Saver settings.

 
Method 1

Step 1: On the taskbar, tap or click on the start (Start button).


Step 2: Select Settings.

 

Note: The shortcut for Settings on the keyboard is start + I.

Step 3: Choose System.


Step 4: Select Battery saver, and then tap the switch under "Battery saver is currently" to activate it.

Method 2

Step 1: On the keyboard press and hold on windows button (Start/Window button) + to open  Action Center. 

 

Step 2: Select All settings.

Step 3: Choose System.

 

Step 4: Select Battery saver, and then tap the switch under "Battery saver is currently" to activate it.

 

Method 3

Enter Battery saver in the search bar.

Activating the Battery Saver Automatically

To automatically activate battery saver mode when the remaining battery power reaches the pre-set level, tap Battery saver settings then select your preferred settings.

You can save power by turning off background apps in the battery settings. Change background app settings that maintain an app’s latest status, send notifications or receive data even while not in use.

Note: When the battery saver mode is on, the screen darkens, the maximum performance of the processor and graphics processor are restricted. Features than can affect battery life such as push notifications from apps are also restricted. This mode can improve battery life by up to 20%.
