Pairing your mobile device with Gear 360

To control Samsung Gear 360 from your mobile device, it must be paired with a mobile device. After the Samsung Gear 360 is paired with a mobile device, it will try to connect to the mobile device every time you turn ON the Samsung Gear 360. 

 

Method 1: Pairing with a mobile device using NFC tags


Step 1: Turn on the Samsung Gear 360.

 
Step 2:
  On your mobile device, turn ON the NFC feature.

 

■ The NFC can be activated in the notification panel.

 

 

Step 3:  Touch the NFC antenna area of the Samsung Gear 360 to the mobile device’s NFC
antenna area.

The Bluetooth feature will be activated automatically.


Step 4: When the Bluetooth connection request window appears, tap OK.


■ When the Samsung Gear 360 and mobile device are connected, the Bluetooth icon will appear on the camera status screen.

Method 2: Pairing with a mobile device using the Samsung Gear 360 app

 

Step 1: Turn on the Samsung Gear 360. The Gear 360 will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

 

Quick Tip

■ To enter Bluetooth pairing mode manually, press and hold the Menu key until Gear 360 Manager appears, and then press the OK key to select it.

Step 2: Tap Samsung Gear 360 on the Apps screen.

Step 3: Tap CONNECT TO GEAR 360.

Step 4: The mobile device will activate the Bluetooth feature and search the devices to pair with. After confirming device name, tap the preferred device name to connect.

Step 5: Read the Terms and Conditions on-screen instructions and tick the checkboxes. If completed, tap DONE.

 

 

Step 6: When the devices are connected, the Samsung Gear 360 app’s main screen will be displayed on the mobile device. The Bluetooth icon will also appear on the camera status screen.
