How can I back up data stored on the Gear S3?

Below are the steps to back up the stored data on the Gear S3 to a mobile device, or restore previously backed up data to the Gear S3 from a mobile device.

Step 1: On the Home screen of the mobile device, tap on Apps.

Step 2: On the Apps screen of the mobile device, tap Samsung Gear.

Step 3: Tap Settings and About Gear.

Step 4: Tap Back up and restore.

NOTE: 

 

■ The Gear’s settings data (except remote connection) will be backed up to the mobile device.
■ If the Gear data was previously backed up, user can restore it into the Gear.
■ This may take some time depending on the size of the files.
