How to sync your contacts to your Google account

When your contacts are synced to your Google account, it automatically syncs as long as you are connected to the Internet. Your Google account must also be signed into your device as well. If you login to your Google account onto a brand new device, your contacts will also automatically sync and will be visible on your device.

Importantly you must be connected to the Internet.


Please follow the simple steps below to find out how to sync your contacts to your Google account:


Step 1: Go into Apps and tap on Contacts.

Step 2: Tap on More located at the top right of the screen.

Step 3: Tap on Settings in the sub-menu.

 Step 3 


Step 4: Tap on Move device contacts to. This means that any contacts saved on the device only is selected to be moved to your desired location.

Step 5: Tap the account you wish to sync your contacts to.

 Step 5 


Step 6: Sync is complete. You will notice the option Move device contacts to will no longer appear. This is because there are no more stored contacts on your device.
