How to encrypt / decrypt your SD card  

 

Encryption is the most effective way to achieve data security. To read an encrypted file, you must have access to a secret key or password that enables you to decrypt it. User can encrypt data , however the user can only access the SD info on the device used to encrypt data.

 

Decryption is the process of taking encoded or encrypted text or other data and converting it back into text that you or the computer can read and understand.

 

Note: Please ensure user has the device on charge in case it corrupts the SD card.

 

 

How to encrypt your SD card

Step 1: Go into the Settings Menu → Lock screen and security.

Step 1   

 

Step 2: Tap on Encrypt SD Card.

Step 1 

 

Step 3: Tap on Encrypt SD Card.

Step 3 

 

Step 4: Proceed with SD card encryption by entering Lock screen security. (Note: As an example, the Pattern Lock was created previously).

Step 4  

 

Step 5: Encryption in progress.

Step 5  

 

Encryption has been complete.

 

How to decrypt your SD card

Step 1: Go into the Settings Menu Lock screen and security.

Step 1    

 

Step 2: Tap on Decrypt SD Card.

 Step 2   

 

Step 3: Tap on Decrypt SD Card.

Step 3    

 

Step 4: Proceed with SD card decryption by entering Lock screen security. (Note: As an example, the Pattern Lock was created previously).

Step 4   

 

● Step 5: Encryption in progress.

Step 5   

 

Decryption has been complete.
