How do I clean my TV screen?

Last Update date : 2017.11.03

For general cleaning of both the frame and screen of your TV, unplug your TV from the power socket and use a soft, clean, lint free, dry cloth. Most Samsung TVs come with a microfiber cloth that prevents scratching.

●    Do not scratch or hit the surface of the display panel with fingernails or other sharp or abrasive objects.

●    Do not spray water or other liquids directly on the TV.

Warning: If water is to be used, ensure that the damp cloth is strained well and does not drip any water, as any water that drips into the TV may cause damage to the TV, fire, or electric shock. This form of damage is not covered under warranty.

●    If the surface is particularly dirty, after general cleaning, soak a soft, lint-free cloth in diluted, mild liquid dish soap (1 part mild liquid dish soap diluted by 100 times the amount of water).

●   Do not clean with chemicals such as alcohol, thinners, or benzene.
