Samsung TV: There is ghosting (Motion Lag) on my UA55F8000

If you find that there is a blur, ghosting, or shadow/s to the images on your television screen, follow the steps below:

 

Step 1: Make sure that the TV is securely connected to the source and the power outlet.

 

Step 2: Try to connect the TV to a different source to identify whether the issue is with the TV or the source. If the issue happens to all sources, proceed to next step.

 

Step 3: Power cycle both the TV and the source. Make sure to unplug both the TV and the source from the power outlet, wait for at least one minute before plugging and turning them back On.

 

Step 4: Reset the Picture settings by going to Menu → PicturePicture OptionsPicture Reset.

 

Step 5: If the issue persists, check the firmware version. If there is a new firmware available, install the necessary updates.

 

Step 6: If all the above steps fail to resolve the issue, contact the Samsung Customer Care hotline for further assistance.
