What are spacers for and how do I install them?

Last Update date : 2017.09.15

Spacers prevent the fridge from going up against the rear wall and also meant to create enough space at the back. When there is enough space at the back, there is good air-circulation, hence, improving the performance of the fridge. This will also help to reduce power consumption and keep energy bills lower.

To install the Spacers please follow these steps:

Step 1: Remove the paper wrappings on the spacers (if there is any).

Step 2: Attach the two spacers (Grey block) on the back side of refrigerator for better performance.

Note: Make sure that the two spacers are installed at the back of the unit and are locked into place. This should normally be done when installing the Refrigerator.
