How do I Enable Bluetooth on my Galaxy Device?

There are 2 ways to activate Bluetooth on your device.

 

Note: Screenshots were taken from Android OS Version 5.0 (Lollipop).

 

Enabing through the Notification Panel:

 

Step 1: Slide your finger from the top most portion of the Home screen going down.

 

Step 2: Tap on the Bluetooth icon. 

 

. 

 

 

Step 3: On the pop up menu, tap the tick box to make the device visible to nearby devices. 

. 

 

 

Step 4: Tap on the Scan option to look for Bluetooth enabled devices. Choose a device to connect to. 

. 

  

Step 5: Start sharing.

 

 

Enabling through the Settings Panel:

 

Step 1: Tap on the Apps icon.

 

Step 2: Tap on Settings. 

. 

 

 

Step 3: Under connections, tap on Bluetooth. 

. 

 

 

Step 4: Slide the Bluetooth option to the right. 

. 

 

 

Step 5: Bluetooth options will appear. Tap the tick box to make the device visible to nearby devices.  

. 

 

 

Step 6: Tap on Scan option to look for Bluetooth enabled devices. Choose a device to connect to.


Step 7: You can now start sharing via Bluetooth.
