Are Samsung LED TVs prone to image retention?

Are Samsung LED TVs prone to image retention?

While less susceptible than Plasma TVs, LED TVs are still subject to image retention.

Generally, you should avoid keeping a static picture (one with few to no moving elements) or a picture with static elements (black bars, black borders, logos etc.) on your TV for more than two hours at a time. That applies if you use your LED TV as a computer monitor or for playing video games.

Please note: Image rentention damage is not covered under express warranty.
