SCM Planning Coordinator (C33000451) - Supply Chain Management

Position Summary:

To provide support to a particular Divisional Supply Chain management unit. The incumbent will support all products through AP1 forecasting, production allocation and miscellaneous analysis as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will be responsible for:

    • KPI Monitoring and Analysis.
    • Oversee RDD Management within order management.
    • Support the standardization of SCM operating procedures (creation and implementation).
    • Support Business Operating Centre (BOC) and customer issues.
    • Data manipulation and adhoc SCM reporting to NAHQ & HQ.
    • Liaison with STA, NAHQ & HQ.
    • System administration (GSBN, GSCM, KAIS, DF, Master Data).
    • Support implementation of Global SCM initiatives.

Background / Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • 2-3 years experience, in relevant field.
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products.

Necessary Skills / Attributes for this position the following skills and abilities must be demonstrated at a proficient level:

    • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels within the organization, vendors and governmental agencies. The ability to work with others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including all levels of staff, and vendors with opposing views to accept/approve plans, technical and project recommendations.
    • The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous accounting related projects and programs in a changing corporate environment.
    • Ability to lead, motivate and direct the activities of other employees in order to achieve objectives, project schedules and team goals and to complete assignments within established time frames and specifications. The ability to develop tasks, work assignments, to clearly define objectives and give technical direction with applied knowledge of alternatives and decision making experience to guide subordinates.

Physical / Mental Demands and Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:

    • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
    • Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 45 % of work time, including prolonged periods of time either writing or responding to emails or documents/proposals.
    • Performs work under moderate time schedules and stresses, which are normally periodic or cyclical and including: time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and project management stress.
    • Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PC’s, printers, and office work areas. Where equipment usually weighs less than 25 pounds.
    • Occasionally works additional hours beyond normal schedule.
    • Under light supervision with responsibility to apply policies and guidelines where decisions are periodically monitored, the consequences of decisions may affect operating results and management decisions to a minor degree. Position has access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company’s competitive position. No Budgetary and/or expense authority.
