We believe in giving back to the community, both locally and globally.
Since 2002, Samsung has partnered with World Vision to improve the lives of children in developing countries. Samsung matches employee contributions for child sponsorship and emergency assistance contributions for disasters like the Haiti earthquake. Samsung is also proud to support the work of the United Way of Peel Region through employee-initiated fundraisers as well as corporate charity events. |

• Samsung Recycling Direct: this program allows consumers to recycle old devices in a socially and environmentally responsible way
• Eco-Management 2013: this comprehensive set of goals is intended to make Samsung a leading eco-friendly company by 2013
• Samsung's new line of flat panel TVs are mercury free, have lead-free solders, and eliminate VOC emissions in the manufacturing of the frames.
• Many Samsung products meet or exceed Energy Star® guidelines.
