We entered the LCD business in 1991 and have subsequently emerged at the display industry leader and world's largest LCD maker. LCDs are the ideal choice for achieving high definition. Moreover, the advent of digital technology has prompted demand for displays in ever-larger screen sizes. At the same time, demand for small and mid-sized LCDs continues to grow rapidly in such diverse applications as mobile phones, digital cameras, PDAs and car navigation systems.
