Traditional projectors typically provide poor image quality, distracting shadows, blinding dazzle and excessive heat, and are inefficient in terms of cost and electricity consumption. Once limited to signage, large format displays (LFDs) are now used by a variety of businesses. With innovative advances in touchscreen technology, picture quality and energy efficiency, LFDs represent a clearer and more economical alternative. Backlight dimming offers broader contrast, with a 240 Hz refresh rate for smoother pictures, and optional touchscreen overlay to deliver an enhanced, interactive customer experience. In addition, its built-in media player LED technology helps reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).

The World’s First 75-inch Edge-type LED LFD

This is the world’s first 75-inch edge-type LED LFD, providing a larger viewing area and greater electricity efficiency. It produces considerably less heat, with a near-silent operation, and requires less energy to run compared to traditional projectors. In addition, there are no expensive bulbs to replace, which means lower downtime and reduced total cost of ownership (TCO). Businesses can plan and deploy extensive video walls with fewer display units thanks to the large screen size and ultra-thin bezels, providing near-seamless message delivery. This LFD's slim, lightweight profile saves space and is easy to install.

Enhanced Viewing Experience with Clear Images

The Samsung ME Series LED LFD delivers high-quality images without the distortion, blur or glare inherent in traditional projectors, providing productive, distraction-free presentations. An ultra-clear panel, backlight dimming technology and a 240 Hz refresh rate all combine to help sharpen image detail and readability, providing an enhanced viewing experience. Other innovations include reduced light scatter and reflection, with broader colour contrast ratios and deeper blacks. Audiences will enjoy smoother, brighter pictures, with virtually no visual distortion, even when images are moving at high speeds.

Engage Viewers with Interactive Touchscreen Option

For added versatility, the ME Series LED LFD can be transformed into interactive e-boards with the simplified installation of an optional overlay touchscreen. The displays use infrared (IR) technology and provide a six-point simultaneous touch experience. A special anti-glare film covers the screen for a smooth writing surface and a real handwriting feel. Included with the overlay touchscreen are two Touch Pens and Samsung MagicIWB™
(Interactive White Board) software. Also included is a pen tray that incorporates one upstream and two downstream USB ports.

Multiple Connectivity Options for Greater Control

The Samsung ME Series offers powerful connectivity, even when working with RJ45 and RS-232 connections, which competing displays solely rely upon. With the Samsung line of LED LFDs, both network types can be used simultaneously. Using a DVI loop out, a single presentational image can be shared with nearby screens. This feature eliminates the need to purchase separate video signal distributors for each device, further reducing equipment costs.

Simplified Content Management with Embedded Solutions

Samsung MagicInfo™ Lite software cuts out the need for a PC media player. This is an all-in-one display solution that incorporates an internal media player. Designed with an intuitive user interface (UI) for ease of operation, administrators can manage, organise and schedule content on multiple screens through a web-based control panel. Specified for ease of installation, the Samsung Plug-in Module (PIM) means content can be customised to suit different situations and businesses.
