Recycling Batteries Responsibly
The European Directive on Batteries and Accumulators aims to minimise the impact of batteries on the environment and encourage the recovery of the materials they contain. In the UK, regulations on the recycling of batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries) were Introduced in 2009. The Waste Batteries Regulations aim to significantly increase UK collection and recycling of used portable batteries from 3% in 2007 to 25% by 2012, rising to at least 45% in 2016.
The battery symbol on a product or on its packaging indicates that the product must not be disposed of with general household waste. Instead, it is the consumer’s responsibility to dispose of their waste batteries at a designated collection point so that they can be recycled. The separate collection and recycling of batteries at the time of dispo sal will help to conserve natural resources and ensure that they are recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. A comprehensive list of battery recycling centres can be obtained from: www.recycle-more.co.uk
All Samsung products that are subject to the Batteries Directive are compliant with the UK battery and accumulator Requirements. In accordance with national law, SAMSUNG Electronics (UK) Ltd is a member of an approved batteries producer compliance scheme. This scheme collects, treats and disposes of batteries on Samsung’s behalf.

looks and works great
this dishwasher works great, I was stunned it got so many bad reviews and no good ones, I am very happy with mine
Not a good machine
I have had nothing but problems with the machine. I keep receiving error codes periodically. 5e Oe errors. I have had to remove disconnect power andwater a couple of times because of faults and failures in the machine.
For a new machine I would expect to have little to no issues. NOT the case with this one.Show more +
Storm Wash promises are false
We purchased this dishwasher a couple of months ago as part of our kitchen renovation. This is probably the worst appliance I have ever invested my money in.
You practically have to wash your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher. The claims about the storm wash cleaning your toughest messes are false. We have reverted to the storm wash for everyday use hoping it would wash the little bits of lettuce off my lunch containers. NOPE! I love the sleek design and the quietness but that is all.Show more +
Have yet to get the machine to actually wash the dishes
Brand new, installed into the kitchen cabinets, connected to water, electricity and drain line in place. Loaded the dishwasher with plates, glasses, cutlery, etc.
Power on, cycle selected, started unit up - wash cycle indicated on front panel, can hear water splashing inside unit. After a few minutes, opened the door to find the 3 nozzles & storm wash nozzle do not rotate (these nozzles will spin freely when hand turned). Dishes remain soiled even after trying to restart unit. Tried to start unit again and water can be heard inside, just no nozzle movement. BRAND NEW - disappointing start!Show more +
