Recycling Batteries Responsibly
The European Directive on Batteries and Accumulators aims to minimise the impact of batteries on the environment and encourage the recovery of the materials they contain. In the UK, regulations on the recycling of batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries) were Introduced in 2009. The Waste Batteries Regulations aim to significantly increase UK collection and recycling of used portable batteries from 3% in 2007 to 25% by 2012, rising to at least 45% in 2016.
The battery symbol on a product or on its packaging indicates that the product must not be disposed of with general household waste. Instead, it is the consumer’s responsibility to dispose of their waste batteries at a designated collection point so that they can be recycled. The separate collection and recycling of batteries at the time of dispo sal will help to conserve natural resources and ensure that they are recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. A comprehensive list of battery recycling centres can be obtained from: www.recycle-more.co.uk
All Samsung products that are subject to the Batteries Directive are compliant with the UK battery and accumulator Requirements. In accordance with national law, SAMSUNG Electronics (UK) Ltd is a member of an approved batteries producer compliance scheme. This scheme collects, treats and disposes of batteries on Samsung’s behalf.

Owners Overall Ratings
Thumbs down from me.
Not liking this phone. My last flip phone was a Nokia and on that phone, the ring tone and the button tone were separate, so I could turn off the button tone and not have to hear annoying beeps with every letter I typed when texting, yet still hear my phone ring.
Not this one. I either have the volume on so I can hear when my phone rings but sound like I'm playing a game when texting, or turn the volume off and risk missing my calls. If there is a way to fix this, it's not clear in the online owner's manual. Also, the rounded, shiny casing on the phone makes it very easy for the phone to slip out of my pocket; something that has happened many times. Two of the biggest faults of this phone (a few smaller dislikes as well).Show more +

No matter how good this cell phone may be and how good the performance of this item, If it can not stay charged for more then 2 days, then what goodis it.
To bad, but the battery life is not good. Had it back to service 3 times and this phone runs to specs they tell me. I know what phone I will get next time.Show more +
over all it is a great phone for its price
Great little phone, but...how do you take selfie photos that you can view before you take?? I have not figured that out and strap for carrying
I Love my first cell phone.
I am having so much fun learning is easier than I thought and I can text all day to my sister at no cost. Pictures are easy to take and send and receive, it is a small compact device and easy to use.
A great phone to have for emergency use when on the road driving or walking and I need a cab cause I am tired or have too much to carry or if an asthma attack comes on, I can call EMS. Its new and fun and exciting and awesome and I love mine.Show more +
