Recycling Batteries Responsibly
The European Directive on Batteries and Accumulators aims to minimise the impact of batteries on the environment and encourage the recovery of the materials they contain. In the UK, regulations on the recycling of batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries) were Introduced in 2009. The Waste Batteries Regulations aim to significantly increase UK collection and recycling of used portable batteries from 3% in 2007 to 25% by 2012, rising to at least 45% in 2016.
The battery symbol on a product or on its packaging indicates that the product must not be disposed of with general household waste. Instead, it is the consumer’s responsibility to dispose of their waste batteries at a designated collection point so that they can be recycled. The separate collection and recycling of batteries at the time of dispo sal will help to conserve natural resources and ensure that they are recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. A comprehensive list of battery recycling centres can be obtained from: www.recycle-more.co.uk
All Samsung products that are subject to the Batteries Directive are compliant with the UK battery and accumulator Requirements. In accordance with national law, SAMSUNG Electronics (UK) Ltd is a member of an approved batteries producer compliance scheme. This scheme collects, treats and disposes of batteries on Samsung’s behalf.

Won't stayed paired. Not all features work. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!
Check your smart TV model before ordering
Our Samsung Smart TV came from Costco and turns out, does NOT have BlueTooth capability, so I was disappointed when this keyboard didn't work due tothat fact.
I decided to keep it, and I now use it as an external keyboard for the iPad mini, for which it performs well. I wish Samsung's website would have had a compatibility tool, to check if your TV can be used with this keyboard before ordering.Show more +
Not what I expected
Using the internet through the TV should be as fast as the internet connection, however the keyboard/mouse combination through the Bluetooth connection is slow, cumbersome and not easy to use.
When the keyboard is on, there is a huge pointing icon but it does not move easily using the pad. When using the right hand side "keypad" is is a lot slower and less accurate then the remote that came with the TV.Show more +
This product failed to work over time
I purchased this product with my new Samsung 60 " LED TV in June 2013. It worked well for about three weeks, and then it failed to work after I triedeverything I could to reconnect it with my tv, reboot it, and try to make it work on other devices.
For the time that it worked, I loved it and it had everything that I needed in a keyboard. When it stopped working, it was a complete failure, and I could not find anything onliine or in the manual or in my electronics related experience to fix the problem.Show more +
