Samsung sends Team Canada to go for Gold at the World Cyber Games Grand Final in Chinaon Nov 08, 2012
Sponsored by Samsung Canada, the country’s top StarCraft II and FIFA 12 gamers will travel to China to compete on the world stage
Courtesy of Samsung Canada, these talented players will now make the trek to China, where they will compete on the international stage.
The cyber athletes competed head to head over the past month in a series of online and regional tournaments in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal to win their spots on Team Canada. Over 500 players participated, showing their passion and gaming skill in the WCG Canada tournament.
“Through the WCG finals, Canada’s most passionate cyber competitors faced off on our Samsung Series 7 Gaming laptops and Series 9 3D monitors, putting our technology to the ultimate test,” said Andrew Barrett, VP Marketing for Samsung Canada. “On behalf of Samsung, we congratulate the gamers that rose to the challenge and stand behind Team Canada on their quest for gold at the WCG Grand Final.”
