Gear S: Setting Use Mobile Networks

Mobile Networks

For enhancement of Gear S usage time, Gear S turn off the modem when connecting to mobile device via bluetooth. As a result, Gear S doesn’t receive the call or message on Gear.

If you always want to receive it, please set the “Use mobile networks” option to “Always on”.

Setting Mobile Networks

1. From the home screen, scroll upwards and tap Settings.


2. Tap Connections.


3. Tap Mobile Networks.


4. Tap Use Mobile Networks.


5. Select Always On. Use mobile networks option will always be turned on.


NOTE: This will increase battery consumption.
