Galaxy Alpha - Where are my photos and videos stored, and how can I move them on my Samsung Galaxy Alpha?

Locate and Move Files


Most files you have downloaded or created on your device can be found in the My Files 1 application.

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1 .

2. Touch My Files 1 .

3. Find files by type, and view your Download history. You can also manage files in your local Device storage, and in Dropbox® or other online storage services.

Moving Pictures in Gallery


To move pictures from your device to another folder or album:

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1 > Gallery 1 .

2. Open an album that contains pictures you want to move.

3. Touch More options 1 > Select.

4. Mark the checkbox next to each picture you want to move.

5. Touch More options 1 > Move to Album.

6. Choose a folder 1 on your device, or touch Create album to move the selected files to a new folder or album.

Moving Pictures in My Files


1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1 .

2. Touch My Files 1 .

3. Touch Device storage1 .

4. Open a folder that contains pictures you want to move.

5. Touch More options 1 > Select.

6. Mark the checkbox next to each picture you want to move.

7. Touch More options1 .

8. Touch Move or Copy.

9. Select a folder.

10. Touch Move here or Paste here. You can create a folder by touching Create folder.
