NX1 Camera - What is 4K Video?

Last Update date : 2015.06.04

Samsung NX1 Camera

The term "4K" refers to the size (in pixels) of the video image that a camera can record or that a television or monitor screen can display. A "4K" video or image is approximately 4000 pixels wide. This gives a resolution about four times as high as a standard high-definition television. This translates to a far clearer picture with greater resolution, allowing you to capture fine details. 4K is also called UHD (Ultra High Definition).

Note: Samsung has two models capable of recording 4K video, the NX1 and the NX500.
