Galaxy View - How do I use S Finder to search for content on my Samsung Galaxy View?

S Finder

S Finder makes it easy to search for a wide variety of content on your device and on the internet. You can enter keywords using your voice or the keyboard.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Search with S Finder

1. To access S Finder from any menu or application, swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom to open the Notification Panel and touch S Finder.


2. Enter a keyword in the search box to begin searching the device.


3. Narrow your results by touching the icons under the search box to filter your search results by content type, time, location, and content tags.

Note: You may need to scroll down to see the icons.


4. Remove a filter by touching 1 next to the filter name.


S Finder Search Locations

To select which applications are included in an S Finder search:

1. Touch MORE > Select search locations.


2. Touch the slider 1 to turn off 1 the search feature for any application you want to exclude from S Finder searches. By default, all compatible applications are included in the search.
