Galaxy S7 - How do I edit photos on my Samsung Galaxy S7?

Photo edition


Edit photos and create collages and animations directly from the Photo editor feature on your mobile device.

Note: The provided information refers to the devices sold in Canada. Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.

Edit Photos


1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1 .

2. Touch Gallery .

3. Find and touch the thumbnail of the photo you want to edit.

Note: Touch Time and then Album (top left corner) to display the pictures by folders.

4. Display the options for the photo by touching the screen. Touch Edit.

5. Choose an editing option at the bottom of the screen:

    • Adjustment: Rotate, flip, crop, or change the size ratio of the photo.

    • Tone: Adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, or temperature of the photo.

    • Effects: Add a filter effect to the photo. Swipe to the left to see the full range of effects available.

    • Drawing: Touch Pen to select from a variety of instruments to draw on the photo.

    • Add image: Apply another photo to the one you are editing.

6. Touch UNDO to remove edits, REDO to add edits back.

7. Touch SAVE when you are finished. Edited photos are saved in the Photo editor album.

8. Touch SHARE to open the sharing options for the photo, including social media applications, nearby devices, and printers.

Create an Animation or Collage


Animation

1. In the Gallery , open the album containing the photos you want to use.

2. Touch MORE > Animate.

4. Mark the checkboxes on up to 50 photos you want to include and touch ANIMATE.

6. Touch Edit, Ratio, or Speed to customize the animation.

7. Touch to preview the animation.

8. Touch SAVE when you are finished editing. Animations are saved in the Photo editor album.


Collage

1. In the Gallery , open the album containing the photos you want to use.

2. Touch MORE > Collage.

4. Mark the checkboxes on up to six photos you want to include and touch COLLAGE.

6. Touch Aspect ratio, Layout, Border, Background, or SHUFFLE to customize the college.

Note: You can also touch individual photos to swap them out or make edits. Touch and drag photos to rearrange them.

7. Touch SAVE when you are finished editing. Collages are saved in the Photo editor album.
