If you are concerned about mobile data usage charges, you can use Wi-Fi instead.

Connect to Wi-Fi


1. From the Home screen, tap Apps 1 > Settings 1.

2. Tap Wi-Fi 1.

3. If necessary, tap the slider 1 to turn Wi-Fi 1.

4. From the list of available Wi-Fi networks, tap on the one you want to connect to.

5. Follow the instructions to connect to the Wi-Fi network (some Wi-Fi networks require passwords, some may not).

4. Once connected, Wi-Fi icon 1  in the notice bar will appear. This means you are now connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Turn Off Wi-Fi


1. To turn Wi-Fi off or on, open the Notification Panel by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom.

2. Tap the Wi-Fi icon 1 to turn it off 1 . When Wi-Fi is on, your device will scan for and automatically connect to any previously connected access points, commonly known as the network.

1. From the Home screen, tap Apps 1 > Settings 1.

2. Tap Wi-Fi 1.

3. Tap MORE for the following options.

    • Add network: Manually add new network connections.

    • WPS push button: Connect directly with your wireless router using the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ button on your router.

    • WPS PIN entry: Connect directly with your wireless router by entering the randomly generated PIN on your device.

    • Smart network swtich: Connect automatically to a mobile network connection when the Wi-Fi connection is unstable.

    • Advanced.
